Welcome!

I have a new studio in the HotShops in Omaha, Nebraska. The building is full of artists. it's more like a giant gallery, with studios in it, than studios and a gallery.

Here are some pictures of my studio,

Fall is coming....

My heart is breaking for Houston and the surrounding area being affected by Hurricane Harvey. I've donated money through Americares.com, a charity recommended by Luana Rubin, who knows a bit about these things.

After seeing the heartwrenching damage on tv, I was sure that the quilt show would be cancelled. BUT, Quilts, Inc has sent out a message that the show will go on, the downtown hotels were not damaged, nor is the George Brown Convention Center. (which is now housing people). I hope the show goes on, because that will mean that the city is making some recovery progress, and that local businesses who rely on the largest hobby show in the US won't lose as much income. I hope the show will go on without draining resources from recovery efforts.

International Quilt Festival

This November, I'll be teaching for three days in Houston at the International Quilt Festival. It's a great venue, lots and lots and lots of quilts, lots and lots and lots of vendors, lots and lots and lots of friends!

I have the classes I'm teaching listed on my official class page, but I'm putting them here for now too!

The Material fee of $7 includes one free pattern for each student. More will be available in class. The patterns offered are only available to students in my classes, I am not currently selling these anywhere else. The patterns eventually will be for sale online, but will be closer to $20.

These are all day classes.

Come join me! It will be fun! Click here to go the Quilts, Inc page.
